To implement a product-oriented SW development process, from the initial phase of definition or prototype in an R&D environment until the market phase.

To define those methodologies and process of development that best suit to the centre, considering the possibility of getting the official SW development certifications.

To define the central technologies of the Centre and convert them in standards of the Centre.

To make an inventory of all the technological capabilities of the Centre in relation to the development of SW producers and to ensure that they are core capabilities.

To identify a network of qualified external suppliers to complement the developments with those technologies that are not centrals in Barcelona Digital, but which are necessary for the final product.

To define the criteria and maintenance processes of the technology created by Barcelona Digital.

Proven experience of the full SW development life cycle for end-users (requirements, prototype, beta phases, implementation and maintenance for client), agile methodologies, ITIL, etc.

Perfect command of common technologies for encapsulated development, or WEB environment.

Knowledge of the main open source projects.

Experience in project management, with communication abilities with external clients and with internal stakeholders of the organization (specially members of the R&D&I areas)

Computer System Engineer, with knowledge of SW architectures and network. CMMI, ITIL or equivalents qualification is desirable.

5 years of experience in the commercial SW development, including quality assessment.

Team work and communication abilities with different professional’s profiles and levels.
