SOM Biotech is a start-up company just established in the Bioincubadora PCB-Santander at the Parc Cientific de Barcelona. Our mission is to provide worldwide re-profiled drug access through a profitable private company committed to its shareholders, employees and society by discovering, confirming, patenting and licensing the application of already known drugs for their development & commercial use in unknown indications. Our discovery platform is based in an in-silico computerized approach.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator in order to perform the next main
FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and manage, acting as central point of contact, external Contract Research Organizations (including active pharmaceutical ingredients providers).
- Develop a project follow-up methodology ensuring delivery of projects in time, on budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Identify, develop and maintain up-to-date drug databases.
- Identify, write and coordinate public and private request and proposals for funds.
- Facilitate a culture of continuous individual and organisational learning in a “can do” culture by actively seeking solutions to problems.
Your PROFILE should include at least:
- An entrepreneur spirit and team work oriented.
- School education in life sciences (Pharmacy preferred).
- Good knowledge of English, Catalan and Spanish.
- IT standard profile (MS Office, web use and e-mail).
- Experience in coordination of multifunctional outsourced R&D projects.
- Knowledge about the patent world and public/private funding.
