Pre-doctoral position description
Topic: Damage Tolerance of Adhesive Joints for Composite Structures in Aeronautics
Profile: Mechanics, Materials, Aeronautics
Job description: In the framework of a research project funded by AIRBUS, this doctoral thesis will deal with the development of experimental methods to assess the damage tolerance and fatigue behaviour of adhesives used to repair composite structures.
Elegibility: Applicants should hold a BE degree in Civil Engineering or Material Engineering. Particular emphasis will be placed on scientific qualifications within the subject area.
Duration: full time for a period of 3-years (one-year extension is possible)
Salary: 950 Euros per month during the first year and 1150 Euros for the second and third year. These amounts correspond to gross salary.

- Date of incorporation: 15st of April or 1st of May 2010 (incorporation may be delayed if the awarded student must obtain a visa to study in Spain).
